Two Omaha women decided to take on the hurculean task of organizing a relief drive to collect needed supplies that will go to those so hard hit by Hurricane Sandy.

Kudos to Hillary Fletcher and Mimi Silverman who partnered with the Omaha Fire Department to organize the collections at any area fire hall. The two are from the area hit by the storm originally and want to help out the places they grew up in.

They are looking for all kinds of cleaning supplies, clorox wipes, shovels, rubber gloves, broms buckets, garbage cans etc. as well as personal hygiene items ranging from toothpaste and toothbrushes, TP, bandaids, bar soap to pet food and diapers.  They are asking that no one bring money, clothing or liquids of any kind.

Cutoff for collections is December 12th, at which point they will be collected and put in a Cannonball Express semi and shipped out.
