This is one of those stories you HAVE to find a way to pass along to your boss.  According to a new study, the future of your company AND the future of the American economy all rests on YOU GETTING A RAISE.

--The study was by a think tank called Demos.  It's a liberal think tank, but don't let that get in the way of your appreciation of what they found.

--They found that when companies give people raises, they earn MORE than the cost of the raises back from extra productivity and the quality of the work.

 --The think tank also projects that lots of people getting raises would stimulate the economy enough to create up to 100,000 new jobs, and add up to $15 BILLION to the U.S. gross domestic product.
