When I first head of the contest, I liked the idea that part of the winnings would go to a local charity. Thisshowed support for both small business and the community. We were surprised and excited when we found out we had won US Bank’s “Up with Business” promotion last fall. This provided needed exposure
for both us at a time when we really needed it.
Being a small business, we had never done radio advertising before. Clear Channel’s staff were wonderful to work with, helping us to formulate ideas for marketing and best use of our radio time to a target audience for our coffee in the morning and our new wine bar in the evenings.
We worked closely with them to organize an event for both us and The Hope Center, culminating with our 4 year anniversary
promotion and fund raiser, with Scott Voorhees broadcasting live from our patio.
Since the ads ran, we have seen a sustained increase in our overall business that can be directly attributed to the radio advertising. We would not have had this without US Bank’s promotion and expect to be doing more radio advertising with Clear Channel in the future.
Thank you for this opportunity.

A Letter From Home Center For Kids
Hello,
Thank you so much for all your work to help make this radio campaign a success for both Fox Hollow Coffee (as outline in Kylan’s attached letter) and for Hope Center for Kids.
Hope Center for Kids is very appreciative of the support we have received in the past from KFAB, this additional gift of advertising made possible by US Bank, was an added bonus!
We are considered a small to medium sized non-profit, so gaining public awareness is difficult with the limited advertising funds available to us. Educating the community about our mission is critical to our ability to meet the financial needs of our organization. We are grateful for the additional awareness gained from this gift of advertising!
This summer we have expanded our program with the first group of youth (approximately 50 new youth!) in the summer employability program. We are thrilled to see the difference being made in north Omaha, due to the support of the community!
Thank you so much to both KFAB and US Bank helping make that possible!
Thanks,
Brenda Block
