One word:  SOUP!!!!!

Let's hear it for what???
Tuesday 06-24-2008 7:34am CT

I was going through some of my old records and tapes

From ”back in the day” and came across this song.  It occurred

to me that men clearly must have had a much eaiser time

dating and in relationships, in gerneral, in the 80’s.

Really, would a guy get very far today if he displayed any

of the things Ms. Williams is cheering about (much less

ALL of them) ???

Let’s Hear It For The Boy -  Denise Williams

My baby, he don't talk sweet,
he ain't got much to say
But he loves me, loves me, loves me
I know that he loves me anyway

And maybe he don't dress fine
But i don't really mind
'cuz every time he pulls me near
I just wanna cheer:
Let's hear it for the boy
Oh, let's give the boy a hand.
Let's hear it for my baby,
You know you gotta understand.
Oh, maybe he's no Romeo,
But he's my love and one man show.

Let's hear it for the boy.

My baby may not be rich,
He's watchin' every dime.
But he loves me loves me loves me,
We always have a real good time.
And maybe he sings off key,
But that's alright by me, yeah.
'Cause what he does he does so well,
Makes me wanna yell.
(YELL???)
'Cause every time he pulls me near,
I just wanna cheer.
(Cheer?)

So… in conclusion….  you can talk bad to me, dress like a

schmuck,  have no idea of what romace is, be poor (and

cheap),  and not be able to sing….  And I am cheering for you???

Men, say good-bye to “the good ol’ days” and show us your

sensitive side.  J
