My boys eat many veggies, but sometimes their objections to certain veggies comes down to texture.  My 10 year old doesn't like beans just as beans, but he'll eat hummus or refried beans.  If we have something like baked beans, I mash them up and he eats them.  So I have taken this "smooth" thing further by introducing pureed soups to the boys...and it goes over well! 

Here's the soup we had last night- broccoli soup- I used the recipe HERE, although I did add a handful of jack cheese after I blended it.  The boys LOVED watching me blend this.
