Always on the hunt for a good deal, I knew that January was the best time to pick up Christmas/Holiday items (wrapping paper, bows, boxes, decorations) and to wait until February or March to pick up winter gear (coats, hats, gloves) but did you know that January is also the best time to buy furniture?

Now is the time to snap up dining sets, sofas, etc.
Electronics are on sale but hold off on the "brand" new anything (tablets, etc) because traditionally prices drop during the year as newer models are released.

And finally, breaking with tradition, if you can hold off getting new linens, you can actually get great sales in June.  It is up to you if you can wait another 6 months, but it could be worth it!
