My mother-in-law and I had a lovely dining experience at Nosh Wine Lounge in downtown Omaha. We were met at the door by the owner, Lila Anderson, and she was so friendly and lovely to Elizabeth and I. The decor was very sleek and modern, yet extremely comfortable. It was the food and service; however, that made our night.  We started off with the house wine, the Twisted Chardonnay.  Then we each had an appetizer...a Bruschetta that's the best I've ever had and a delicious Spinach and Artichoke dip that made me want to marry the chef. For our second course we had their signature Margherita Flatbread and for dessert the delectable Blackberry Cheesecake.  I would highly recommend Nosh.  Our waitress Wendy was delightful!!! Restaurant Week menu comes complete with a glass of wine: Twisted Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio or Red Zinfandel.

first course options:

• Spinach and Artichoke Dip: served with crispy prosciutto and toasted baguette
• Maryland Lump Crab Cakes: served with creole aioli and dressed spring mix
• Bruschetta: with buffalo mozzarella and balsamic reduction

second course options:

• Nosh Sliders: ground beef sliders served with 1/2 salad or truffle fries
• Margherita Flatbread: basil pesto, fresh local tomatoes and basil, mozzarella cheese and balsamic reduction
• Mussels: steamed in a rosemary cream sauce or white wine garlic sauce

third course options:

• Blackberry Basil Cheesecake
• Godiva Mousse Bombe with Raspberry Grastique
• Hazelnut Chocolate Slab
